Modacrylic is a modern fibre with built-in flame-retardant properties: it is hard to ignite, self-extinguishing and does not support combustion. It increases safety during combat tasks, work near open flames or with explosive substances. In addition, modacrylic protects cotton from the cold, is resistant to chemicals, fungi and moths, and is hypoallergenic.

Cotton provides softness, breathability and natural thermoregulation — the garment is comfortable during active movement, quickly absorbs and wicks away moisture and retains heat.
