The SKIF tactical trousers are made of ripstop fabric, which protects from wind and moisture and is tear-resistant. The fabric is 65% cotton and 30% polyester.
The trousers are durable and resistant to abrasion and tears, do not cause overheating — important when carrying out special tasks. They are ideal for spring, summer or warm autumn.
The fabric has passed the NIR test with the InfiRay Jerry F device, meaning the material is camouflaged in the infrared spectrum in which night-vision devices operate.
For extra convenience the trousers feature ten pockets — two side pockets, two large front pockets, two front pockets for small items, two large rear pockets on the seat, and two below-knee pockets for tourniquets or small items.
The pockets have specially designed flaps that prevent items from falling out. There are also patch pockets for knee pads.
The pocket flaps have additional pull tabs for easier opening and an inner loop for extra security.
The trousers are protected from abrasion at the lower inside. The waistband has additional adjustment for the waist size. The bottom is adjusted with Velcro. At the front of the waistband there are loops with plastic half-rings for attaching small items.
The seat of the trousers has reinforcing inserts.
The construction of the trousers has been improved based on feedback from servicemen after completed combat missions.
